well im just learning how to add pictures.
but this is the machine. got it as is sight unseen till today
the engine is free at least I moved the fan blade and the crank pulley turned
the clutch is I guess rusted frozen the pedal barely moves and it sure dont spring back up. I guess at least a new pressure plate and clutch disk need to be ordered
ii saw that DB Electrical. the place for starters generators and alternators has these clutch parts for very good price \
has anyone ordered these from them?
and the pto engagement handle/ lever seems very loose and will need attention
I guess first thing might be put a battery to it and see if it will crank over and then try to get spark happening while the carburetor is soaking in a bucket of chem dip.
can anyone direct me to service manual for the clutch and pto? or do I need to order from jensales

oh yeah, I have the head light plate, it was hanging loose soil I removed it for the trip home. what was most surperizing is the IH emblem on it looks perfect

Prime the oil pump before attempting to start the engine. There's some information about the clutch etc on this forum, try the search feature at the top right corner of this page. Might be some manuals in the manuals section. Your 3pt hitch is a plus.

Their parts are made overseas. I ordered a 6 volt starter for a standard Cub from them. Starter lasted less than the one year warranty. Received a new starter. It failed is a short period of time. Took the starter apart. Brush holders were not formed correctly. Salvaged the brush holders from my old, original starter. Been working for quite a few years since I rebuilt the starter.

My opinion. Most of DB Electrical components are well manufactured. Assembly quality control, not so good.

A stuck or sticking clutch pedal does not necassarily mean there is anything wrong with the clutch itself. Free up the peddle and diagnose any remaining problems before buying parts.

I got a battery that fits in the battery box. I guess it is supposed to be a group 22 size battery. none to be found but I went to the interstate battery warehouse store and they didn't have the exact one and they're was another that would fit but it is $200. the manager pulled one off the blemished rack that is perfect fit size and it only cost $60.
got it home. put it in battery box connected cables turned the key. nothing. I pulled the hood off to check wires. the ones I touched just crumbled into dust they are so old and brittle.
I need to get all my stash of colored primary wire and rewire everything.
are there color codes I should follow besides red for + and black for -

The parts manual has a black and white wiring layout/diagram. Quick links, upper left of this page.

While working on the electrical wiring, move the battery ground cable from the sheet metal to the transmission.

Diagnose the wiring before purchasing parts. Then, only repair just enough to get the tractor started.

sounds like a plan I need to stick to, buy only what is absolutely necessary. ive been spraying all the rusted fasteners and spark plugs with kroil and the clutch is starting to move a little bit. the steering wheel is in real poor shape and will probably have to cut it off to get the dash apart. but will soak it with penetrating oil and try pulling it with a bearing separator and leg puller first.
