what gauge wire?

Postby getitrunning » Sat Aug 05, 2023 5:06 pm

I finally got the dash off this 1969 154 and it's a mess, needs to be completely rewired. I'm guessing the yellow wire that goes to the solenoid is 10 gauge. for the rest of the wires what gauge should be used? 14? can I get away with 16? i have quite a few colors in 14 except yellow.
anyone know where to get replacement plugs? I would buy brillmans harness but I have more time than money and already have lots of terminals and wire
