154 clutch making noise
Clutch works ok, but started making noise. Kind of a "loose rattling" sound. If I depress the clutch enough to take the free play out, the noise goes away. Could it be a broken spring in the pressure plate? Once mowing season is over, I'll take a closer look.

Re: 154 clutch making noise
Probably not. The 154's engine clutch assembly is sort of a floppy thing.A/C guy wrote:Could it be a broken spring in the pressure plate?
You need to take the panel off between the operator's calves and inspect.
I have an excuse. CRS.
