Something fried and I do t know what
I went to start my loboy after polarizing the generator and she ran fine. Then I shut it off and went to restart. She started to crank, heard some sparks, then nothing. No clicks, bumps, nothing, dead as a doornail. I jump the starter generator and it works. What do you think it is?

Frying sound is normally battery related.
Ignition relay/solenoid. Battery terminals. Battery cable/cable ends.
The battery ground is sheet metal. Move the battery ground cable from the sheet metal to the transmission.

I've heard and seen that with bad contacts on the Starter Saddle Switch on top of the starter.
You can disconnect the battery ground cable, remove the 2 small screws that hold that switch in place and check for arcing. There are also flat insulator pieces inside the underside of the switch...if missing you can get arcing there too.

What model and year of Numbered Cub do you own?
Or, is this a standard Cub or a standard low boy Cub? We are assuming that it's a Numbered Cub because of the initial post.
