Quick Question for the 154 people,{just entered that realm myself}.
How do you tell the fluid levels for the hydraulic, transmission, rear wheels & last but not least the creeper gear?
Any & all help appreciated. . . . . . Thank you . . . . .

Obviously you need to get the Owner's Manual for your 154. It contains this info and so much more.

Hey unknown lo-boy newby. The proccedure is real simple. Check them the same way you check out a rearend.....scuse me I mean rear differential.....sorry ladies! Back out the check plugs, one at a time of course, and stick your little finger in the hole nail up and fingerprint down up to the first joint. If you can touch the oil then you are ok. I am pretty liberal with mine. Several year ago I bought a small pump that screws onto a one gallon bottle. I then pump the respective gear box full untill it runs out and then quickly put the plug back in. As far as the creeper goes they are just a pain to service. I take out the top plug and look down in it with a small flash light. If I can see oil then fine if not then I add oil till I think the bottom of the planataries are covered. My creeper dosen't have a check hole for some reason known only to IH. GT

A 154 is a great tractor, I am getting ready to buy a second. To read the manual is cheating! But it is on either page 54 or 55.

Well I do not have a Numbered Series Cub.. maybe someday.. who knows. However, I do have the Cub Manual Server and therein you will find a few of the manuals. Follow the links in the text below..
But to help in the interim.. although I do not have a service manual on line yet the TC-131 Parts Catalog is there and it does provide some nice parts breakdowns etc., that can help in figuring it all out. Also, here is the link to the Lubrication Guide for the Cub-154 Lo-Boy that begins on page 52 to 54 as Landreo indicated.
