Hello,
A few months ago I bought a 1974 Cub Loboy 154. I have been seeing pictures of other Cubs Loboys with a radiator guard or pusher bar assembly on the front of the tractor. These are nice so you don't damage that expensive radiator surround if you bump into something !!!! Are these guards homemade or is there a standard one that could have been purchased with a new tractor and then might be able to be had used from someone ??? I have made one already for my garden tractor so I could make one for the LoBoy, but if you could buy one already made that would fit, I might go that way. Maybe someone has a set of plans to make one ???? Close -up pictures of some would be great !!!! Any help would be appreciated !!!! Thanks

Bob
Edit: links to eBay don't show the guard, but a little searching will probably find it.

Re: Front radiator guard or push bar
Here are some pictures of one of Ralph's Cubs he fixed up for his son Camo. Probably the nicest 154 ever seen! I'm not sure where the grill guard came from, but you should be able to get some good ideas for fabrication. Occasionally you see them on e-bay, as the old post mentioned above talked about. Turns out that was my original post, but I never did get a grill guard for the Cub. It was fairly similar to the one shown here, only setup to go on a standard Cub.

I've got a 154 in the Cubhouse that I'm going to be working on for a friend and it has a home brewed grill guard that may be of interest to you. I'll shoot some pics for you tomorrow.

As promised, here are the pics.
This puppy is "10 feet tall and bulletproof." Built by a local welder for the owner.
Hope this helps.
