Might try you local starter/generator repair shop. Starter/generators are rebuildable. Thought is that a rebuilt S/G would be as good as new and not much more expensive than a used S/G when shipping is priced in.
If you want to go the used S/G route, post in the for sale wanted sections, Several folks are parting out numbered Cub Low-Boys.

Most stuff in there such as the terminals that run through the s/g housing can be replaced.

Local automotive electric shop can re-do one at a reasonable cost and no shipping expense involved,--fast turnaround time too!!! thanks; sonny
