154 shifter moves side to side while in gear
When my shifter is in any gear I can move it left to right and it seems like my gears get mixed up, sometimes seems like left and back is 1st then sometimes seems like right and back is first. It doesn't seem to get stuck in 2 gears or anything, I've had my 885 David Brown get stuck in 1st and reverse due to a worn shift fork. But is the shifter coming out of the shift fork on my cub?

a pin inside the case? Im not familiar with how these transmissions shift, I tried looking at the parts diagram but it doesnt help much.I pulled the sheet metal off just now and found I can get it to shift properly if I shift it very deliberately.
Unfortunately this tractor was parked for a long time, sold at auction to a guy who got it running, albeit not very well, who I then bought it from. I can only imagine why it was parked in the first place, I have yet to find any major problems luckily.

Thanks guys, I got it figured out and welded it back up, just waiting on the fresh coat of paint to dry.
