Lo Boy Questions

What is the big hole for in the middle and at the bottom of the front axle? Do any companies still make brand new entire deck kits for these tractors ? Can you plow snow with belly mower still attached? Brian :tractor:

I don't believe the hole was for any particular purpose other than to tie it down on a trailer. I've never seen any attachment that utilizes that hole in the front axle.

Yes, Woods still makes mower decks for them. You won't like the price, but new decks are available. Probably looking at over $1500 for a new deck.
There are lots of good used decks available, you just have to keep your eyes open, or post a Wanted ad in the classifieds section.
