Fire Extinguisher "SHAKE-UP"!

Postby Dale Finch » Mon Sep 06, 2021 9:43 am

It was posted on here a while back that dry chemical fire extinguishers should be shaken up periodically to loosen the powder and keep it from packing down. So, I figured it was time for me to shake up the various fire extinguishers we have here at the farm.

This smaller one is pretty easy...

But the larger one is going to take a bit more oomph!!

And for those who are unaware, there was a huge recall of the small, plastic handled/nozzled extinguishers (sold under several brand names). Check online for the procedures to determine if you have a recalled ext., and how to get your free new one.
