Stopped in at the local stock broker and purchased more utility company stock.

Ask the broker about the email saying the office was closed. Broker said that the company told him to send the email and that he did as ordered, but he had no intention of closing his door.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Been watching our stock. Ain’t good as it’s value got cut almost in half but we’re riding it out hoping it’ll all snap back when this blows over. If we sold now we’d see a painful loss.
One thing Good though, there’s not much traffic on the road. Yesterday I made a 162 mile round trip for a complete 54A blade assembly. It’s the newer example with the spring rod lift. It has very crusty but original paint and decals, the snow extension and boomerang. Aside from the rust it’s very straight and complete. This one set me back a whopping $100 ! The sun was out and the traffic was so light you’d think it was early Saturday morning. :)

I went out today to shop, I always buy enough to last me a couple weeks as I live in the sticks, stores were pretty easy to move through, no paper products of any kind, few empty shelves, on one road was a bunch of cars lined up behind a truck, he was selling TP out of the truck, people are crazy

The hospital at the University of Michigan sent out a request for supplies as they were beginning to run low. Cases in Michigan jumped from 80 or so yesterday to 336 today.

You've got to put the jump in perspective. A bunch more tests became available so a lot more have been tested the last couple of days.

I suspect in reality we have many thousands with it that either have no symptoms or only mild symptoms. Unfortunately they're spreading it around.

Exactly right...many, many more carriers that don't know or haven't started exhibiting symptoms. Listened in on FDA and USDA webinars and we are in the contageous trajectory mode and it will be weeks before the curve flattens.

DHS designated the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce plan for farm, food and transport workers. We were worried that everyone at our facility would be stopped from working but we should be good now. Our company is physically splitting the directors and managers in case one of the 2 goes down. Tough going, burning up phones and skype to keep everything going.

Do us all a favor at the factories....don't hoard buy...we can't make enough right now and the pressure to produce in enormous to make sure everybody gets some.

As I sipped my coffee this morning, I looked out at my deck which is COVERED with yellow pollen. This is the time of year when my allergies go crazy...and I'm already on daily Zyrtec pills. The pastures at my farm (about 8 acres) are in need of a haircut, but even though I wear goggles and a dust mask, I always come home sneezing and with itchy eyes! If I'm not careful, it can progress to bronchitis.

So with this Covid-19 around, if I am in public, folks will NOW think I have the virus, with my sneezing, etc. Sure wish I could stop the grass from growing!

Think I'll go ahead and go out...do as much mowing today as I can, then shower before I leave the farm, head home, grab the box of Kleenex and hunker down away from anyone! At least it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so some of this yellow stuff will be washed away!!

I know, I coughed in the store the other day and felt like EF Hutton as everyone turned their head towards me.

I've been hacking and horking all winter long due to chronic postnasal drip that won't go away. I'm sure I look like patient zero to everyone.

...and no, the doctor can't/won't do anything about it. She just nods her head and says, "Uh-huh." Need her referral to go to an ENT, and she won't give it. Find a different doctor, you say? Ok, open the yellow pages and... 600+ primary care physicians in the greater Rochester area. Nobody I know wants me going to their doctor for some reason. I ask who they use and they just umm, ahh, point and yell "Look! An airplane!" and when I turn back around, they're gone. You'd think I'd quit falling for that one indoors.

Well, at least I'm not the ONLY "Typhoid Mary". I'll just hide away and sniffle and snort to my heart's content, and with no one to glare at me!!

Matt, I have similar issues and one of my doctors suggested a HEPA filter for the bedroom. (Honeywell makes several good models.) Not a cure, but it has greatly helped my problems.

Our Gov in NJ just put us on lockdown. If your not going out for what you absolutely need or gave to to do stay home. We risk a disorderly persons charge if we ignore it.
This came after the nearby Lakewood Hasidic Jewish community ignored the no large gatherings order and held two weddings with over 200+ people each. Now over half the confirmed positive cases of the virus in that county are in that town. Most of whom travel into NYC daily, which is a hot zone now.
The local kids home from school have been congregating also prompting the lockdown order.
It’s getting pretty serious here. The national guard has set up in seagirt, said to help with testing but a long train was videoed passing through the area to seagirt carrying *rmy t*nks on flatbed cars, and there were a lot! What the hell do we need a train load of t*nks for in a shore town???
I encrypted that because if we tried to post the video on Facebook it was quickly deleted . Why???
Giving us anxiety.

I’ve been using a “therapure” air filter that has a cleanable filter and a UV lamp. Had it for years in the bedroom as I have dust and pollen allergy’s.
It’s helped immensely.

Toilet paper, daily survey, 11 AM, Sunday 22 March. None.

Saturday morning around 9 AM clerks were stocking the toilet paper shelves. Same time, folks with shopping carts full were at the check out counter.

Posted in grocery store entrance and at check out counters: "No rain checks and no returns until further notice".

Coming Wednesday have a medical appointment at a large medical center. Only main entrance open. Guessing a temperature check and cough related questions.
I have an excuse. CRS.
