Kerosene in a diesel tractor?

Years ago, kerosene and #1 heating oil, and #1 diesel were the same. When K-1 kerosene came along, it was a purer grade fuel for use in heaters and such. I think the further refining removed most if it’s lubricity. If I were thinking of running it in my tractors, I’d definitely add a lubricant. I’m not offering advice on the matter, though.

My uncle used to add a couple of gallons to the tractors on the farm when it gets cold. To prevent it from gelling up. Bear in mind if you don't add enough lubricant to the kerosene you will destroy your injection pump. As there is none in the kero. My point is do the research and be careful
