POdges test results.

Postby deputy jailer » Mon Jan 21, 2008 1:58 pm

Well I took the final tests today. The Dr concluded from last week that my heart was skipping frequent beats and today the determined I have and enlarged heart. He gave me some new medicines so I will have to start taking those now. Other than that everything else looked ok. My pulse is a main concern for me and them. With my BP at 120/70 the oulse is still at about 120 140 BPM. So I guess from here on out its a "keeping it under control" type thing. He said enlarged hearts were common but still a concern. So thanks for the prayers and kind words. Looks like I'll be seeing some of you at some cubfests :D :D

Josh,
Do as the Doc says and keep it under control. You got many, many years of worth of stuff to do :D Besides I want you to hitch a ride with Ralph and come on down to Stonethrow III this fall....with the family :D

I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Josh, you just keep taking care of yourself. You know we're keeping you in our thoughts and prayers here. We'll see you for sure at a CubFest or two.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

The very fact you went to see the man for help shows me you will do the right thing and be with us many more years. Keep up the good work.

Josh: The HEART is like a CUB. Sometimes you need to tune it up and adjust the timeing. Sometimes an addative helps clean out the sludge. Ofton you have to consult with an authority ( ie Cub Forum ) and most important you need to follow the good advise you receive. A complete rebuild is occassionally needed or sometimes just a valve job is needed. Like a Cub if you treat it with care it will work for you a very long time. Having seen pictures of your Cub I know how you will be taking care of yourself. Seriously I am glad you are OK. Be Well. Don

Josh - what you describe is not unusual for us old geezers. But certainly a concern for a young fella like yourself. Listen to the docs and you'll be fine.

Just listen to the dr. and take your meds. A new tractor for yourself isn't a bad thing either

Podge has a BIG heart!

I am glad that you went to see the doctor and I am sure that they can get this under control, my friend. Just listen to what they say!
