Well had to break out the lawn mower Wednesday and mow the lawn. Felt good to be back in the seat again. I even weed-wacked the yard. Today the wife and I went to her mother's house and mowed her yard.

Does this mean spring is here?

Put Seafoam in the mowers last year and they all started right up this year. The self-propelled push mower started on the first pull. All of them run good. The weed-wacker I think needs a plug. Last year the wife mixed some gas up for it and you could tell what part of the yard she was in by the smoke trail. I guess it is well lubricated.

I am glad there is hope for Spring time. I have plowed twice this week. The only good thing is that this will help fill up the pot holes and hopefully we will see a return of some waterfowl. Don

Baydog
What you call pot holes and what we call pot holes are entirely different.
To us it is holes in the pavement. If we had your pot holes the Jersey mosquitoes would move to New York.

Bill we have some good pot holes in the pavement up here. Now that the sun is getting warm they really emerge. I suppose the flying varmits will be back. It sure has been a long winter. The horses are shedding like crazy so I guess nature must be sending signals. Don

Yard is still brown here, I do see a little green starting in the wheat field that surrounds my house. Guess that means there is hope.

I've had to mow my yard twice already. Gas being what it is, I was hoping to put it off a little longer.

Jim,

You're breaking my heart! I had to push snow today, I hope it is the last time for the year.
