Re: Propane Prices
My propane supplier was a long time family operated business that grew to a pretty large operation. Two or three years they sold out to a larger regional company that was in an acquiring mode and siphoning off customers and closing smaller operations. My company remained (under the new ownership), but raised prices and cut service much to the dismay of the remaining employees. They lost a lot of customers (and goodwill) and about a year ago sent out a letter to all the those former customers using price to get them back. I obtained a copy of the letter promising $1.39 through July 2008, and $1.49 through July 2009. I was capped at $1.89 up through July 2007. I called them and asked what they were doing for the loyal customers who stayed with them through this. "Oh, we will give you the same price!" Loyal customers who didn't know about this were paying $2.49 to $3.99 throughout this past winter. So, I've got another year at $1.49 and I'll be enjoying it. But it sure will be a sticker shock come August 2009.

Re: Propane Prices
This is our third year for contracting propane. 2006= paid $1.46, 2007= paid $1.50, just contracted for this year, paid $2.24. Bought 1200 at that price and do the math. I actually filled up off the truck for 2.05, but they contract us at 2.24. What a ripoff. Guess I don't feel too bad after seeing some of your guys prices . Driver told me they're thinking over three bucks a gallons by august!!

Re: Propane Prices
I am paying $ 3.90 per gallon for propane for the house. I will not turn on the heat, I burn wood. The propane gets used for hot water, kitchen stove and clothe dryer. We are being ripped off bad.

Re: Propane Prices
Denny, would that company spell their name the same as the little village of Moulton?
