Bud Sutong passed away Friday. Bud and his wife Joyce hosted Central Indiana CubFest for 8 Years on their farm near Tipton Indiana. Bud's Cubs were used as the base models for the Spec Cast cubs that were produced for the last 5 years, I will miss our long evening Cub calls and visits to the farm.

Bud will be missed by all of us that knew him. I never had the opportunity to attend the CI Cubfest. I got to know him from attending other tractor shows over the years. Here is a picture of him from the 2002 Red Power Roundup, the first time we met.

Central Indiana Cub Fest was the first Cub Fest I attended, I will never forget what a great time I had and how comfortable Bud made everyone feel, he was truly a gentleman. I always enjoyed talking with him at various tractor events. Sincere condolences to the family and friends.

So sad to hear this. I made 2 CI CubFests and especially enjoyed Bud taking me all around and through the dark crevices of his barns. He had lots of cool stuff and was always ready to talk about it!
