Bill Darr Passed
Candy received an email from Agnes Darr that Bill had passed away February 4th after a battle with kidney cancer. Agnes didn't know how to post on the forum but had Candy's email address in her phone contacts.
Rest in peace, Bill.

Re: Bill Darr Passed
That's terrible news, so sorry to hear. Bill was a true gentleman and was always a valuable contributor at Cub Fests. I enjoyed talking with him and learning from his insight.
Prayers to his family and friends.
Rest in peace, Bill!

So sorry to hear. As David said, Bill was very helpful at CubFests. You couldn't find a better friend. He was greatly missed when he had to stop attending CubFests a few years ago. Rosie and I will always remember the tremendous help he was in the shop, as well as the help Agnes provided keeping everyone fed at the Bash.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Logging in for the first time in a while. So sorry to read this news. I enjoyed Bill’s company and appreciated his help on more than one project at more than one Bash. What a nice guy with a lot to share.
So long, Mr. Darr! Thank you!

Re: Bill Darr Passed
As everyone has already stated, Bill was one of the nicest people I met involved with Cubs. He entertained Andrew and I at more than one Cubfest, so sorry to hear of his passing, and so proud and appreciative to have made his acquaintance,
