Re: Idalia
Yes good luck to folks in FL.
IN-Task Force 1 isn't going to help. Some of the members just got home from Hawaii. Plus all their equipment I still in Hawaii. Sad that they cant help.

Re: Idalia
Aron is in Wildwood, FL at the Duke Energy hub.
His employer, Grid Services, has 80-90 trucks there out of 2,800 at this location alone.
He left Montgomery, AL at 3:30am this morning and is just getting to his hotel room at 11:30pm tonight in Ocala. Already fixed several trucks on the trip to Wildwood and has a list of things to fix in the morning. A lot of these units set for weeks and months without being used until a storm comes along and then there running 24/7.

He had planned to stop by Rantoul since he was in the area and I believe he had his camper with him. Hopefully he is still on his trip.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Idalia
Since I haven’t heard anything from him or anyone here, has anyone been in contact with Ron Tyree from Homasassa Springs, FL?

Re: Idalia
Just got the following from Ron.
Thanks Bill - no damage here at all. We were in Indiana during the storm. On the drive home, the panhandle was OK but the landfall area (Perry FL) was pretty devastated. Our town was flooded (11 foot storm surge) but we and most of the businesses are well above that. Hope you and Rosie are doing well. Take care.
