Merry Christmas everyone.

Wife broke a bone in her foot putting up Christmas decorations 20 Dec. Thought it was bruised. Hurt like heck. Did get the foot X-rayed on 22 Dec. Being Christmas, she can't get to see the orthopedic surgeon until 3 Jan 2024.

Worse news on my part. Major on my part. Vacuum leak in my Dodge 1500 pickup. Mechanics shop has everyone on holiday vacation or sick. Have to wait until 2 Jan 2024 to get the vacuum leak solved and the truck's first tune up in 10 years. Yup, 10 years that I've owned the truck. 95 Dodge, 360 engine, minimal oil usage. If it wasn't for the vacuum leak I wouldn't get the tune up.

What really hurts, 8 Jan 24, spending $2600- for new floor pans, under coating and body to frame supports on wife's 06 Pontiac Torrent. - - Why, less expensive than another vehicle and wife only drives 3000 miles per year.

Merry Christmas all. Things could be worse. Wife might not have the money in "HER" checking account to pay for everything.

May all your "toys" start on the first try sans jumper cables and/or starting fluid.

Sending out warm wishes for heath and happiness throughout the year.

Prayers sent up for rapid healing and full recovery for Eugene's wife. I hope the truck comes out well without having to fire the "parts cannon" at it.
