Bigdog... where was he operated on? (what City?) George mentioned traveling for the surgery. This has to really stink for all involved if they have to stay "away from home" during this time...

Prayers from Georgia on the way...
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

Re: Update on George Willer as of: 10/16/08
Many of the regulars from over the years know George very well. If you have joined the forum in the past year chances are you never had the pleasure to meet George. I attended his Winter CubFest in January and it was the one time I got to meet him. He and I have exchanged PM’s several times also. He has been somewhat of an inspiration to me in that he would give me a little advice now and then.
When I talked with him at his CubFest I had just picked up #12 and had it out on the trailer. He said that at the rate I was going I would surpass him with the number of Cubs owned shortly unless I slowed down. This summer I picked up #18 which had gone through a fire. Rosanne and I were discussing a name for it when I looked at the burned metal on it and thought of one of my favorite comedians – George Burns. I also thought of my new friend, George Willer, another man with a sense of humor and how I thought that maybe now I had finally surpassed him in the Cub count. George is a natural name for this Cub. George Willer would take something that looks like this Cub and make it a thing of beauty. I hope I can too.
George is an unbelievable guy. He is always willing to help a fellow Cubber. He is always thinking of a better way to make a repair and he makes sure to share his thoughts with others. He is a friend to all that visit this forum. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to enjoy George’s company check out his website at http://www.gwill.net. It is an excellent way to learn more about a very gifted gentleman.
As always, Rosie and I send our prayers to George and Marilyn. We hope everything works out for the good and we hope to visit again in the future.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
