Dad is still in the ICU unit, but is doing better tonight. His potassium level is coming down, but his sugar levels are still 287 to 300+

Dad is progressing, but it is slow. It is the weekend at the VA hospital. Not a lot going on :big smirk:

Dr's at the VA came back to work today and the test results got read :big smirk: He is doing better, potassium and sugar levels are getting better. They think he might be home in a few days.

His kidney ultrasound shows no serious problem, so now they are stumped as to what caused all of this.

Talked to Mom tonight. His sugar levels are still high, they are trying to figure out why. Puts a hold on when they will let him go home.
