Probably not. It would take a lot of sand or saw dust to fill any size silo.

Did help uncle drop a silo. Not many salavageable pieces when it toppled.

You don’t “fill” the silo. You put about a 3 foot layer around or inside the silo to cushion the impact when the piece lands, one at a time. Sawdust cushions better than sand.
