Weekend project

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Weekend project

Postby Dusty B » Sun Aug 15, 2021 6:30 pm

Finally got around to almost finishing a project goal I started this spring! Wanted to get my 12V electric seeder mounted higher up to get better seed spread pattern. With some help from my granddaughter, scrounged some scrap metal from the company scrap pile, got it cut to size and cranked up the Hobart! Surprising how much "pigeon roost" welding can be covered up w/a grinder and a coat of paint! LOL!
Main weight is on the drawbar but is cantilevered under the rear axle so all of the weight is not on the finals. At least that's my theory!

That is pretty cool, have you tried it out yet? Is your Cub 12 volt?

I could not say tractor when I was 2 years old so I called it Err Err.

I loved this tractor then and I still love it now.

I do not think you need to worry about weight with that seeder!
