Hi Fellas and gals.... I am excited to show this video a produced of my latest project...solar !! I took this spring off from building another tractor. My expense was to 'update' my electrical system to meet code. ($2900 in which I may regain over the years in kickbacks from new installations of solar that I refer. Yeah ! I'm thankful !! My electric bill was approximately running $240 monthly....now the bill will be approximately $76 monthly for about 5 months of the year....the remaining months will break even....I say projected because I haven't got a bill yet....the first month was free. Please watch this link below.....a little video I composed....yes Sir !!

Re: Solar City on my Garage
Probably have to track electricity payments for a year to get a good idea on the pay back time period.
Several years ago ran the numbers on a solar panel system for the house. There was no realistic return on investment.
Let us know how your solar system works out.

Re: Solar City on my Garage
Hope you have great luck with it.
Do you have to have a bank of batteries or just a converter?
How to those panels stand up to a hail storm?
Keep us informed.

Click on this link above to learn more about Solar City....I installed 15 panels on my garage...it took the team of 7 guys 1 1/2 hours to install.....the best part?? FOR FREE !! That's right ...FREE....they loan me the panels and equeipment (Invertor, etc.) I was responsible for anything that was NOT up to electric code....my house, being 100 years old, of course had a few issues....it cost me $2900 for an electrician to rectify the code updates....the rest of all Solar City was absolutely FREE....I waited about 2 years for the whole process to happen... September bill is $6.55 dollars !! That all!!! I urge all my comrades here on Farmall Cub .com to look into solar....they will come out and talk to you and explain everything at not cost to you... Only candidates (1 in 7 households) are eligible to a southern exposure roof the hold the panels and with no trees shading them.....check into it fellas....I am locked in for the next 20 years at $.17 a KWH....I am tickled as punch....a good piece of mind...
