Wise Guys at Cubarama

Postby Barnyard » Mon Sep 30, 2019 2:37 pm

As always, after the Friday night family style meal, Cub Bud holds his annual Cub Trivia. There were total of 60 possible points. This year, with a total of 37 points Team Super Cub took the Golden Light Bulb trophy. Second place came in with a total of 19 points.

Jim Becker did a great job with most the answers this year. So, as you can see in the photo my wife wanted to stand closer to him. Ken Horne did a great job of restraining his wife from doing likewise

I would think that team had a distinctive advantage with the combined knowledge in that team.

Bill, as I mentioned after the trivia contest. Our team came in first in the amateur division.

Yep, we don't know much about the answers, but we do look good in pictures.

I've already started thinking about next year's bunch of trivia questions. I'm going to throw in another 10 pt bonus question. The category will be The Cub-Arama...same as this year.

Beautiful and real. There must have been a wonderful time. Similar happens in Virginia but they will change the name of the state.

I know my memory is getting a lot worse as i get older, but the questions must have been tough for a crew with those people on it to only get 37 out of 60.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

John, there were twenty five two point questions and one ten point bonus question for a total of 26 questions. Some questions were two part answers so getting half of the question wrong only cost a point. The way it worked out. I'm not sure if we answered the bonus question. If not, that alone cost us ten points meaning we missed only five questions and half of another.

I don't think we even came up with a wrong answer for the 10 point bonus question. As I recall, nobody got the bonus question right.
