I don't know Ed, if this forecast holds, you're going to owe Art big-time;

I learned a long time ago, plan what you are going to do and take the weather as it comes.... I can be flexible, but pretty thrilled with the 'current' forecast. I worked down the hall from official weather guessers and would scratch my head that they never looked out the window!
Finally mailed off my QVEA membership..... Hope it's a club that would have me for a member. I really enjoy the folks in that organization, great people!
May need to scam out Sunday to do some Cub work at Ft Adams. Sure like it when Cub work involves a RUNNING tractor!

Other than the fact that I have to work till mid-afternoon, this is going to be a great weather weekend for a change. Have to go back to ConnectiCubFest 2007 to find a forecast like this;
Still gotta load the truck & trailer.
See you this evening.
Peter
p.s. Ed - Art dun good!

...where's the pictures Larry?
Thank you Art and Dave along with the rest of the QVEA-Zagray crew for a great weekend.
Beautiful weather this year. Good turnout of people, vendors, tractors, and other old iron on Saturday. Heavy frost both Saturday and Sunday morning. Gotta work on my tent camping supplies for the kids.
Small group for us: Cecil, Bob Phillips, Larry Davis, Ed Darowski, me and my youngest girls. Gary Post, Scot Lemieux, Kit & Ruth Sumner dropped in on Saturday.
This Allis Chalmers 'G' was cruising around the grounds;
...couple of other Allis Chalmers tractors at the show that were real nice restorations as well. All told there were probably a dozen Cubs scattered across the grounds, some in working clothes - some trailer queens. A real nice batch of Ford tractors from one owner that comes every year. There was a Farmall 350 with some huge front and rear tires on it For Sale - $8,750, seemed like a real nice restore. Never got around to taking pictures of many of the tractors, maybe Larry or Bob did.
Watched the sawmill in operation and finally got my 18" diameter x 60" long White Oak log milled up into rough sawn 1 1/4" boards. They did the best they could to mimic quarter-sawn. I will post photos later tonight or tomorrow. It's going to make a real nice coffee table.
Picked up some more hand tools for the kids and found myself a Cub right angle gearbox & belt pulley.

It was the best turn out of vendors and weather I've seen yet. To bad I couldn't stay but family came first
