Someday, I will make me a front hitch! I need one! 
It helps to have a helper as a spotter sometimes, or you might have to dismount many times.
With practice (and trial and error) you'll get it!

Backing a wagon is totally different ballgame than backing a trailer. Trailer is easy, wagon not so much

Backing a wagon is the opposite of a trailer. The other thing is small corrections and anticipate and start them before you think they are needed.
That being said a wagon tongue is easier to hitch up then a trailer one.
Especially when the wagon/trailer is loaded.
We have a nice little one. Looks good behind the cub or H.
