Woods 59 spindle
Wanting to replace the three spindles on my Woods 59in finish mower that is on one of my cubs. Has anyone found a replacement spindle that fits that is not as expensive as what I come up with when I put Woods 4116 spindle in the search engine. Show $215.34 ea at Messicks.

Re: Woods 59 spindle
What is wrong with the current spindles? Most can be rebuilt with a new set of bearings and seals.

Just wanted to have a reasonable priced source available if I had problem trying to rebuild.

Re: Woods 59 spindle
Reasonably sure you could buy a parts mower and harvest the usable parts for less than $645. If you don't have part numbers take a spindle with its parts to a parts supply. They will measure and match bearings and seals that will fit the housing. JMHO Stan

Re: Woods 59 spindle
Thanks, the new spindle is just a fallback if one got damaged in some way while I was changing out bearings and seals

I'll bet you could pick up a spare from one of the forum members or maybe Hamilton Bob and rebuild it for future use. Stan

Re: Woods 59 spindle
I have a dozen junk 59's here, well not really junk but thats where I put them,---took all them off tractors of various colors and tossed them in the junkpile where most of them still are.
