Bigest thing is wear in the pins. The pins hold the tracks together. Are the drive sprockets excessively worn? Are the seals in the finals leaking? Is it stuck? Is the bucket hydraulic? Are the cylinders leaking? are the crank seals leaking? Then with how much is it? All the regular motor veh stuff . As far as the grousers they come different depths according what you are going to do.

Thanks Bill, i will ask/look at that stuff on monday when we hopefully go to look at it, the price is only 1600, since it has a driveline problem or somthing, i guess when it's on flat ground, it drives, but when you tip it up, like with the bucket, it makes a clunking sound, i am hoping it is somthin glike a shear pin  but i don't really know, the guy doesnt' think it's too big a thing, and he knows his stuff i guess.

yes, the bucket i would assume is hydraulic, but i haven't seen it yet, or asked bout it, dad just asked the guy today while i was at work. but from what my dad said, it runs great...

Thanks

Johnny

Those are flat tracks in the picture. No grousers to dig up roads and driveways in the picture. Billy could give you more if he is around.
What do you plan to do with it?

well, that one isn't the one that we are getting, but mine might have grousers, but again,i wn't know for sure untill monday...

I plan to dig up some stumps, one big one, but mostly like old rotted 4" dia stumps, just that I can't dig them up with the C.... also I plan on doing alot of dirtwork at the neighbors, again too much for the C with loader, but not alot, and there are a few rocks they need us to move also, but otherwise, after that, we might sell it and get a smaller one, or just keep this one, right now i don' tknow if we are actually gonna get it, but the way mom is acting bout it, i think it's gonna be a go :!:  8) :P

I will wait for Billy, thanks

Johnny
