Engine Kit ???

Postby Cub-Bud » Wed Feb 04, 2004 2:33 pm

I am ready to buy a engine kit (bottom end) for my '45 Farmall B. I checked with OEM and they don't carry them anymore. Anybody bought one from a good source :?:

At this moment, I plan on purchasing one from my local Napa dealer. I bought all of the parts to rework the head from them and was pleased with the quality (Cleavite by Dana) and price.

I am open to suggestions and recommendations.

You might try "High Capacity Engineering" . I believe they're from Iowa. I've been well satisfied with their kits.

I am familiar with High Capacity....I worked at my local Case/IH dealership for 2years; we sold their reman clutch pressure plates, disks, etc. I had forgotten they supplied engine kits.
