SOUIX 620 VALVE GRINDER

Postby largeonee » Sun Jun 01, 2008 12:52 pm

Hi I bought a valve grinder. On my last cub motor they wanted $100 to grind its valves. so I bought this setup for $200. it works and looks to be fairly complete. does anyone have any books or info on this model I have seen some other model books on eBay. I don't see anything for truing the stone on the valve refacer. also some one has added a coolant system that is incomplete. so I need to rig a pump on it. what is the best lube/coolant to run.

I made my own dresser using a diamond tip on a 3/8" rod I purchased from MSC. I mounted it on a rod shaft and then bolted it to a piece of flat stock with a hole to mount it on the table near the jaw. I would crank back the head and dress the wheel. Then remove it to grind valves.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
