Sorry guys....I didn't grow up around farm machinery. Everything I do on my little piece of heaven with my Cubs and tractors and equipment I have to teach myself. I feel like an idiot just asking this....
I bought a JD 750 2 years ago and I recenlty acquired a Ford tiller. My tractor came with a loader and a backhoe, but did not come with any of the 3 point hitch pieces. I found them at tractor salvage places, but I had to buy an aftermarket top link. How the heck to I get the little bar that goes through the top link through the hole? The bar has these 4 knurled edges, and it doesn't go through. Do I just kind of hammer it through? If so....what prevents it from falling back out?
Sorry for the lame question.
Blair

Yep, what Mike said. Just smack it through and it shouldn't come back out. I've done about 6 and they're still ok.

Yes, but you need to get a running start at it!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
