I have a CA which I'm told has the same tranny and I don't know of a lever. I'll look tomorrow out of curiousity.

Gear shift lever

Postby Eugene » Thu May 26, 2005 10:15 am

John:

It's called a reverse latch lifting lever. The little thumb lever on the gear shift is used when you shift the tractor into reverse. It's supposed to keep you from accidently shifting into reverse. Must be one of the earlier unstyled WCs. The later WCs didn't have the lever.

If it doesn't work, don't worry about it.

Eugene.
