This oil was sooo thick in my super A after 20 years. It would not flow. I put a spot light on it till it was good and warm. Still nothing. I could not run it to warm it up.
Then it hit me!!! I'll take my air tank and let it go inside the fill port.
BOY DID THAT WORK, but I advise not to do it. Look what it did.
What a mess. It shot about 15 feet across the garage, and the oil left on the tractor is so thick it won't run off.
I got it out though.
More up dates as I screw up. Still having fun.

You struck black gold!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Looks like something I've done before.
Old tractors. When I purchase them. I park them inside, remove the drain plugs from the transmission, differential and finals. Then put a bucket or large pan under the drain. Let set for several months. It takes a while for the 140 weight gear lub to drain out, but it does drain.

You showed us what happened to the tractor and floor . . . but if you were standing there pointing that air hose into the gearbox, how much ended up on you??
