I got a worksaver 3-pt hitch and wanted to add a wood chipper to my '49. I guess I need to get a PTO adapter to slow the speed and change the spline. Has anyone out there had any experience with putting a wood chipper on a cub? Does it have enough power if I'm only chipping 3 inch branches? Any comments please.

For what you will probably have to pay for a pto convertor and considering the horsepower rating of the cub, I think you'd be better off to purchase a powered chipper and use the cub to haul the chips.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
