Cold Carb.??
Can someone tell my why my carb. is getting extremely cold where it bolts to the exhaust manifold while the engine is running. Will it hurt anything?

Re: Cold Carb.??
At that point the evaporating gas inside is working exactly the same as the refrigerant in your freezer. I'd be more concerned if it didn't get cold.

Re: Cold Carb.??
Exactly as George said - evaporation. When I drag raced we ran alcohol in a pull-through turbo setup. It was neat after a run to see thick frost falling off the carb right next to a glowing red-hot turbo charger.
