Ralph,
There are a couple different ways to do it. Here's the easiest.
Paste in the URL of your picture like this:
http://www.geocities.com/ralphna2@prodi ... rk_004.jpg
Of course, it won't show the picture yet. Highlight it. Then click the IMG button above. That will put a code ahead of it to turn on the picture mode like this...

Ralph,
I see the problem. You're trying to link to an entire web page...the file extention is '.html'. To show the picture directly, you will have to go to just the individual picture which will have a '.jpg' extention. I lifted this one from your page as a demonstration.

some of the free web space sites do not allow direct access to the photo, it is necessary to first go to the front page, then click on the album. I think they do that to prevent huge bandwidth use by direct linking to a site like this one, where the photo would be viewed automaticly by everyone who read the message. The alternative is to check with your internet provider and see if they offer web space for a private web site. Many do, but do not make a big deal of it, as most folks do not care about that, and have no idea how to make a web site anyway. If yours does provide space, they can tell you how to upload photos to their server, and how to link to them.
