Another 154 question.
Well, I finally delivered the 154 back to the neighbor (that is a whole nother story). He and I got to talking, and he said he would like to have a tiller and a loader for it. I know they are out there, but what models would I look for, and what should he expect to pay?

I don't remember how your 154 is set up, but I believe you need the creeper drive for it to be very effective with a tiller.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Re: Another 154 question.
A creeper and 3-point is required for the Model 15 Tiller.
The tiller is a big load on the tractor. I have stalled my 184 while tilling at wide open throttle in creeper gear 1.

I should have mentioned that in my post sorry As far as the 154 I have it does have a creeper drive and I use my tiller extensively, it really is an important implement for me.
I always till in first and low creeper drive with open throttle, you have to keep you hand on the hyd. control so you can adjust depth on heavy or hard soil. Sometimes you have to make a second pass to get the consistency you want in your seed bed.
As Ive said I use my tiller for lots of things, I till my compost, till leaves, till flower beds. I have even spot tilled my yard to re-seed the lawn.

Re: Another 154 question.
I wonder why its called a "creeper" on the cub cadets and a "reduction gear box" on the int154's.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
