Two more days and the M and SM arrive at their new home. I don't know why I'm excited about two old tractors that don't even run.

Trust me, Roy doesn't get excited over old tractors the least little bit.

Re: Home
As expected I am in very hot water for buying the M's. To make matters worse I got a phone call yesterday. About 3 years ago I found a Cub in the garage of an abandon farm. The County Clerk got me the owners name and address. Two letters and several phone messages later no response. It seems that the old gentleman is 90 and has dementia. His daughter is getting his affairs in order and ask if I still wanted the tractors. She did not know anything about tractors and ask if we could get together. I remember that the Cub had been parked in the garage, tires low but not flat, oil and antifreeze, and a 22 mower. I could not get to the serial number but it did have a small mesh grill. My question is can water get above 212 degrees?

Yes it can get above 212 degrees. That is the just the temperature where it begins to boil.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Home
Dan - unfortunately, water can get above 212 degrees. But wives' boiling points can vary somewhat. You know you have to go make a deal on the cub so just get it over with! It will only hurt for a while!

Re: Home
Dan,
If your already in HOT WATER, your body should be adjusting and your ability to withstand more heat is much better. Might be best to react before things cool down..... Jump all over it!
(hey, your on a Cub Forum, did you really expect anyone to talk you out of it )
Good luck,

Re: Home
Hello Dan:
My theory is to give them something small (like buying more tractors ) to get steamed about and that keep their attention away from more important issues, which none come to mind now. ***** Disclaimer :please note I flunked out of Psycholgy ! I am however a self certified "jail house lawyer"
Good luck, Berlin
