Lucky Me
I put in the hydraulics I bought from JP salvage yesterday. I had the front cultivators jacked up in position with a floor jack. I was trying to get the hydraulic block in position but it wouldn't go. I took it back out and turned around to put it back on the bench and tripped over the jack handle. The block went flying and landed on one of the mount ears. It chipped out a piece of the cement floor but didn't hurt the unit. I guess my drop test was a success. Funny thing is that the first unit I received from JP had one of the mount ears broken off and the block was cracked and the shipping box had a hole in it the size of a soft ball. Only thing I can think of is that UPS dropped it of the back of the truck to do that much damage. JP are great people to deal with. I called and let them know about the damage and they had another unit shipped by the next day.
Always try the easiest thing first.

The only skate board in my time was a 2X4 with 1/2 haly a skate in the front and the other half in the rear with an orange crate that had a firing strip as a handle.

When I worked an appliance shop at Desoto, Mo. in the early 70s, there was a driver for one of the freight lines that unloaded appliances such as washers and dryer, by ridng the hand truck down the ramp from his trailer, and when he reached the street he would jut drag one foot to turn and then cross the sidewalk and set them right next to the building. Never stepped off the axle of the hand truck all the way. Still gives me the shiveres thinking aobut it.
