4 wheeling with some friends. His mom called from the hospital tonight. Broke both his radius and ulna bones just below the elbow. Has a bit of a road rash on his face and shoulder from what I understand. He was moved to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. He has been x-rayed and was being taken for a cat scan when his mom called. Surgery will be on Monday or Tuesday depending on the swelling. Remember to keep him in your prayers.

Tell Willy he is in our prayers. I will let Rosie know also.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I hope it wasn't a green 4-wheeler. That would break his heart! Doug - Tell Willie to take it easy and get healed up. We'll keep him in our thoughts.

Re: Willy took a spill today - Update
Willy had his surgery today. It lasted two hours and they put all of his bones back where they belong. He now has a 5" bar with 10 screws in his left arm. He will be in a soft cast for 2 weeks then they will remove the stitches and put on a hard cast for 4 more weeks. If all goes well he gets to come home tomorrow. He and his mother appreciated the thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts going out to Willie for a fast recovery. Tell him we can compare scars at the next Cub Tug.

Re: Willy took a spill today
Willy is home now and still pretty sore.
Turned out to be a GREEN Polaris Ranger. His wipe out was on gravel so he has a lot of road rash on his left side. He did have his seatbelt on.
I am sure he will be more than ready to show his battle scars come Cub Tug.
Thanks guys,
Doug
