All,
I just bought a 1964 Farmall Cub with Fast Hitch and Belly Mower. I Have wanted a cub for quite sometime. So far I have a one point blade, and a Mid mount 152 disc plow. I am also looking at acquring another Cub that has a 22 Mower mounted on it. I am also in the market for a complete set of cultivators and a one point disc harrow for the Cub as well.
I have been working with Farmall tractors for quite sometime now. I have two H farmall tractors in addition to the Cub. I have one that I use for everyday purposes and anothe I am half way thru the retoration on. I enjoy working with these tractors and my two sons have learned a vast amount of knowledge as well. I have a 25V sickle mower, HM221 set of cultivators for one of the H's. I also have a 46 IH Baler, 35 IH Hay rake, an IH 200 Manure spreader, and a Two row corn planter for a C Farmall its axel mounted in fair shape to restore.
I began this project fooling around with the older tractors for my two sons to learn how to work on Farm machinery and to hobby farm. It has kept them out of trouble and they have gained valuable experience as well.

Re: New Cub Owner
Welcome to the forum Tony. Glad to hear you are making it a family affair by involving the boys.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Tony,
Welcome to a great group of people. Looks like you are into older machinery, up to your ears. As for your 152 disk plow -- on a Fast Hitch Cub you will need a 153 disk plow, like this
Mounts real easy and great to work with. Enjoy your Cub.
