Day off project
Had the day off so I decided to build Gray Cub a new shooting bench. We've gone to the local shooting range a few times and have been lucky being the only ones there each time. Safety first so I don't like shooting with people I don't know.
I built this bench on sled runners so we can take to my Mom and Dads farm and move around with our cub to different places in the pasture fields.
We didn't have any plans so I just kind of made them up as I went. Grayson shoots left hand while I shoot right so this should take care of both of us.
Still need to pick up bolts for the legs yet but it's pretty solid the way it is.
Had to use my truck to drag it out of the garage once it was finished.

Nice job! I like that it will work for both left handed and right handed shooters. A sweet project!

Yogie:
I like it. Nicely done. Well built .. stout being a good descriptor.
Ok.. so hey. Qualified on all small arms under a .50 cal in the military but never came up on a shooting bench. Mind explaining the use/rationale? I is curious.
