Any Idea of Value?
Yes, I know, it all depends on location and all, but I gotta get some idea of what you guys think this might be worth. This is a 1949 International. the milage is unknown and the exhaust has gotta go. Not sure if this will make it to the barnyard but it fits in with what I have been looking for.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Actually, I kinda like the exhaust, if it were done a little neater. That's a cool looking truck, but I haven't a clue what it's worth either.

Bill,
I like it! You're on your own as far as value, I haven't got a clue.

Re: Any Idea of Value?
Yeah, go orginal with the exhaust. What's it worth? Whatever it takes to get it to the barnyard!
It's got your name written all over it if you will just look a little closer.
Be sure and post some pictures when you redo the exhaust and have a cub loaded on the back.
You might have to pretty up a cub though.

Re: Any Idea of Value?
Great looking truck, but it would look better up here in Michigan.
Regarding value, I would say it's worth a handful of Cubs that are sitting in your barn. Maybe you can work out a deal!!

I did and she just shook her head as she walked away. I don't think she's gonna let me get rid of this to buy it.

Re: Any Idea of Value?
That is one fine looking machine. Since no one else is brave (dumb) enough to make a guess of price, here goes my Guestimate.
If It was here in Va. I would guess in the $4.5 k to $ 7.5 k, realize this is only my WG.

I started out with nothing and now I only have half of that left !

Re: Any Idea of Value?
Well the guy is asking $6,800.00 for it. It is a bit of a drive from here so I need to get hold of him and ask as many questions as I can. My concern is the amount of bondo it may be carrying around with it.

Re: Any Idea of Value?
That's it Randall. It evidently is listed on several different websites. I found it in three different places with a high asking price of $7,900.00 and a low of $6,800.00.

Re: Any Idea of Value?
The old story says that a willing seller and a willing buyer determine the price. Even the $7900 doesn't seem too bad. If things seem reasonable to you go for it. Where is it? Heh. Heh. I'd vote for the exhaust to go original with the second choice to reroute. Be interesting to see if it is simply wyed or split manifold. The old Chevys with a 2 - 4 split didn't sound so bad. Vern

Re: Any Idea of Value?
More info I am finding. The seller says the model number is 1652. All the google searches I have done shows a 1652 to be a step van. This looks more like the KB series so I googled that also. When I did that I found the exact same truck, right down to the curved exhaust, offered for sale in Illinois by a completely different person. Those pictures show the truck in a completely different setting and the price is $10,000.00.

Do you see any red flags there????????
