If they had used a "T", they could have had dual exhaust...

you don't need a rain cap if the exhaust is pointing down though 8)

I can kind of understand the muffler, several years ago a tree limb took mine off because I was watching the mower deck when I should have been looking forward. At least that didn't harm the tractor. However, I really hate it when I see the hood mangled and cut out because someone couldn't take the time to do a 12volt conversion neatly. If I can do it, anyone can.
