Hi all, it's been a while!
A friend of mine just bought this sickle bar mower and we can't identify it. I don't know if it's Farmall, but heck it's red! Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in, I wasn't sure where else to ask. I haven't seen a lot of you guys in several years, things in WV are good (and busy). I hope to have time next summer to visit a few Cubfests, maybe even have one here!
Thanks,
John

Neighbor John, it's nice to see you again.
Nice looking mower but it's the first one of those I've ever seen around here.
I'm sure you'll have an answer before the day's over.
I'm up for a mini fest anytime, heck as close as you are I could probably just drive the cub there.

Nice to see you posting again. Unfortunately I haven't got a clue as to which model that is. Hope all is well with you and yours and hope to see you again at a CubFest.

Re: Anyone recognize this mower?
At first glance, my thought was Massey-Ferguson. Some parts look pretty typically IH, others less so. After a closer look, I think it is either an IH 230 or some very similar model. Go to the CaseIH site http://partstore.caseih.com/us/, click on "find parts by model" and search for 230. The mower is about 6th on the list. See if it matches up.

Thanks Jim, that does look like it! I'll pass the info along and let my friend compare parts more closely.
I knew one of the Farmall Cub guys would know where to look.

I wish I found it, but a friend got to it first.. I would look nice hanging on the back of my Kubota.
