Re: Cub hydrauic fluid?
BW, Don't remember, had it so long that the weird container cracked open and started leaking. Lucky I caught it early. Late '80's or early '90's, container was made so that cap is on side at about 45 degree angle. Longer than tall. Bought when I had to replace the gear on the hyd. pump.

That's the correct stuff.

Sumthin' wrong here. That was a (2) two gallon jug I was looking at. Also the label was not exactly like the one on their web site. I'll check it out today.

Sounds like a 2 gallon container is $1 less per gallon than Hy Tran Ultra?

Re: Cub hydrauic fluid?
Up here when I can get it Hy-tran Ultra is about $40.00 for a 2 gallon/7.75 litre jug and a 5 gallong or 20 litre pail is about $100.00. Perma-Tran is about $5.00 more and Umbra is about $92.50. None of it is cheap.... Good thing we don't need a lot per Cub
