Saddened to hear of this latest trial, brother. May the Lord sustain and strengthen you and your family during this difficult time. We'll certainly make petition before the Lord and ask that His hand of healing will be quick to restore. If possible, be encouraged and take heart. Trust in the Lord and lean on Him.

Re: Prayers Would Be a Big Help
Folks, I gotta say they seem to be working and we are thankful for them. Amanda has a great attitude about this even as each day the diagnosis/probability scenario worsened. We are very proud of her. We know her strength comes from her faith in the Lord (course at her age she is just on the resurgence curve), her family and all the prayers for her.
So, the update - the detailed MRI on Thursday showed that there were multiple lesions on her brain. Two neurologists feel this is almost sufficient for the diagnosis but wanted to do more to confirm. The spinal tap has been sent off to the lab in Halifax and we are awaiting those results as they will probably be anti-climactic. She had another MRI on Friday - on her spine. The results came in yesterday and I got them late last night when Em got home. The MRI showed lesions on her spine and now both neurologists have decided that it is more than sufficient to base their decision. They had already started her on the steroid treatment plan and looks like she will end up going into the second phase as well. Probably go home in 8 - 10 days or so, just in time to move. She has a few more MRI's scheduled from what I understand.
As a bottom line, this is now a life changing event for her and we are on a steep learning curve. Thankfully we are a very close family, we intentionally nurtured our kids to think of family in the right order - God, Family and community/country. So they have their priorities straight and their heads screwed on right. Together as a family, with help from the Lord we shall get through this.
Your prayers are a blessing to us and we appreciate each and every one of them. Prayer works miracles and we are feeling those prayers daily. Thank you all and bless each and every one of you and your families. Peace (+)
