I attended an auction today in Dayton, Va. where a 1950 Cub was sold. I looked the tractor over well and decided that it would rate as good to very good in my estimation.
It sold for $ 1250.00, which I thought was at the lower end of the price range for this area. We are not in the truck farming or tobacco growing areas of Va. and Cubs are rather scarce here and tend to be pricey . They also sold a 1951 Ford 8N in good condition, it brought only $ 850.00 which is very low for this area. I hope this helps those who are trying to establish a price for Cubs.

Re: 1950 Cub auction price
I was at a farm auction today that sold large equipment along with five Ford “N”s that went for over $3,000. The last one went for $4250 with a blade and a mower.
The Cub’s around my area will go for $1200 to $1800 depending on condition and up to $2500 with equipment. Next week hopefully I’m going to one that has two Cubs available.

Re: 1950 Cub auction price
Prices seem to be way down, a restored, straight 1952 Cub in good mechanical condition only brought $1500 at a large consignment sale about a month ago that I was at.

Yep Berlin, prices are 'settling'. The auction where I bought my 50 had 2 shiny Cubs that went for $2000 and one would keep the mosquitoes down for a mile or so.
Before I got the loader Cub I was half way looking for a red belly Ford with a loader... but leaning towards 600 series. I am glad I found the Cub first.
