Nice, Bob. I too love that picture with the mountains in the background, and your dog.

Nice tractor and nice area to live…. Longmont is a good place to live.
One of the first things I noticed when I arrived at a western US working ranch was the winches on all the equipment that works in the fields/range.

Hiya Bob,
Nice bit of machinery, with a winch on back and chains on wheels ready for the snow plough to be put on front. If you get stuck in the snow you can winch yourself out again. Happy Days, Enjoy,
Donegal Cub.

Yogie, the winch and FH are already off of it. I'm going to cut off the axle extensions and drain the tires today.
56cub, the pickup is an '88. We bought it used in 90 and I had a crate engine put in it two years ago.

Re: Pics of my new 1966
That is a nice looking yeller one Bob. I really like the red Cubs, but the yellow ones are great. I find that the tach is very handy for setting the timing, I just dip and peak the RPMs by moving the distributor until I reach max RPM and the timing is set to peak.

Stanton, I haven't decided yet. I may ask for my wife's input and maybe bank a few points. Out here, very few people are going to know what color it's supposed to be anyway.

So, are you saying that it may end up orange, silver, blue or green to blend in??

Hi Bob,
Nice one with winch as well. Very handy if you get stuck just up to something solid and pull yourself out ENJOY

Re: Pics of my new 1966
I thought the front tube extensions looked like something James Bond would have attached to his Cub . Not sure about the winch, could be useful for dragging a log up a hill?? I think a fast hitch 'winch attachment' would be handy, but there always seems to be something else attached to mine.
Welcome to wonderful world of yeller Cubs, that is a nice one! Enjoy it!
For mowers, I believe a fast hitch one is the way to go, but haven't seen one for sale in a while.
